Lebanon Valley College Launches RealResponse to Support Student Safety and Well-Being
Lebanon Valley College (LVC) is taking another step forward in ensuring a safe, supportive, and inclusive campus community. Beginning this fall, students will have access to RealResponse, a new platform that makes it easy and anonymous for campus community members to share concerns.
Through RealResponse, LVC students can report concerns including harassment, sexual misconduct, safety issues, bullying, discrimination, bias, or any other type of misconduct or policy violation. Reports can be submitted via text or by email. Students also have the option to identify themselves, keep the conversation going with administrators, and request follow-up updates, all while maintaining the flexibility and confidentiality they need.
“We’re happy to introduce RealResponse as a new method for students, faculty, and staff to report any concerns they may have,” said Dr. Sarah Shupp, Interim Vice President of Student Affairs. “With options for texting and emailing, concerns can be quickly and easily shared and receive a faster response. We look forward to RealResponse helping us to support student safety and wellbeing.”
RealResponse is replacing a campus conduct hotline while continuing to complement other reporting options available at LVC, including Maxient forms, Campus Safety, Human Resources, and Student Affairs staff.
“Lebanon Valley College is sending a clear message to its students: your voice matters, and your safety is a priority,”said David Chadwick, Founder and CEO of RealResponse.“We are honored to partner with LVC to provide students with a trusted, accessible, and anonymous way to speak up, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed.”
This launch, paired with tools like the Omnilert emergency app, reflects LVC’s ongoing commitment to putting students first and making sure every member of the community feels supported, safe, and valued.
