Toledo Empowers Student-Athletes with RealResponse

Anonymous, real-time reporting platform provides Rocket student-athletes with ability to share communication and confidential feedback.

TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo Athletic Department announced today it has partnered with RealResponse, the leading feedback and reporting platform for athletic organizations.

The partnership highlights Toledo’s commitment to prioritizing student-athlete health and well-ness, safety and experiences by giving student-athletes a platform to communicate with the administration in real-time, and if elected, confidentially. The platform also allows for the ability to centralize the department’s most important documentation and conduct surveys regarding student-athlete experiences.

“Our number-one goal is providing our student-athletes with the best possible experience, while prioritizing their health, safety and well-being,” said Toledo Vice President and Director of Athletics Bryan B. Blair. “Our partnership with RealResponse gives them another tool to communicate and share important feedback with our administrative team in real-time. We look forward to working with RealResponse as we continue to look for ways to enhance the student-athlete experience at the University of Toledo.”

“This is a great opportunity for student-athletes to have a platform for our voices,” said Kennedy Lovell, a senior on the Toledo women’s swimming & diving team and the president of Toledo’s Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC). “It opens a pathway between administration and student-athletes for open communication that will promote real changes at our institution.”

RealResponse is a powerful web-based platform that offers three solutions: a survey tool for student-athletes to share feedback and rate their schools; a benchmark tool to compare metrics to peer and national averages; and the Anonymous Real-Time Reporting tool to empower student-athletes to report concerns anonymously in real-time. Using the platform’s documentation hub, key personnel can securely store and track sensitive information.

Toledo student-athletes join more than 50,000 NCAA Division I student-athletes using RealResponse.

“We are excited to partner with Toledo Athletics and provide them with additional resources to support their student-athletes and staff in their pursuit of excellence,” said RealResponse founder and CEO David Chadwick. “RealResponse platforms will enable them to anonymously report concerns and feedback to allow Toledo leadership to immediately and effectively address any issues. Director of Athletics Bryan Blair has been a national leader in enhancing the student-athlete experience and we welcome him and Toledo Athletics into the growing RealResponse family.”
