Sigma Alpha Epsilon Partners with RealResponse for Anonymous Reporting

01/13/25

Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) and RealResponse are thrilled to announce their partnership to enhance safety and accountability within the SAE community. RealResponse enables anonymous, two-way communications giving SAE members an always on communications tool through which they can report emergencies, crises, or general concerns.

“We are always looking for ways to reduce risk, foster a safer environment, and hold each other accountable to SAE’s high standards,” comments Steadman Boston, Director of Risk Management at Sigma Alpha Epsilon. “With RealResponse, members can simply text a concern to a dedicated number and receive a prompt response from an administrator who is ready to help address the issue or need.”

This new reporting line will be open every hour of every day in service of all SAE members. The ability to communicate back and forth with an individual through an anonymous interface allows SAE leadership to proactively respond to and remediate incidents more effectively.

Members reporting a concern through RealResponse remain completely anonymous but may choose to reveal their identity at any time. SAE’s goal is to compel its members to report any issue or concern and prevent misconduct by offering a safe and private space that makes use of familiar communications tools.

“We give students the ability to report a concern quickly and easily through tools they use on a daily basis. With text messaging and QR code technology, we meet students right where they are. It’s that simple,” states RealResponse Founder and CEO David Chadwick. “More importantly, RealResponse helps keep students safe from harm and gives them real-time access to specialized support when they need it most.”
