Iconic NFL club empowers employees with anonymous “culture tool.”

The Kansas City Chiefs believe human capital is the club’s most valuable resource. Providing a hotline seemed like a natural way to capture suggestions to enhance the workplace dynamic with its employees and players. While ahead of the curve compared to its peers in using digital tools to promote employee discussion internally, the Chiefs basic hotline was largely unused and ineffective.

Recognizing this, the Chiefs selected a next generation solution that enabled anonymous communications and the “suggestion box” started to fill up. By providing and empowering every employee, including its elite athletes, with an instrument that made them feel safe and heard, the Chiefs were able to identify and address cultural challenges quickly.
