As Kimya Massey dives into his role as Associate Vice President and Executive Director of Athletics, one thing is clear: his dedication to fostering meaningful experiences for student-athletes, fans, and supporters. To further this mission, he is introducing RealResponse technology—a tool designed to gather valuable feedback and insights from attendees at athletics events.
“We are extremely grateful to partner with RealResponse on a broad and wide scope of services designed to assist our department to fully hear the voices of our student-athletes, staff and fans from all angles,” Massey states. “It is critically important to be able to communicate effectively with all of our stakeholders and RealResponse’s platform makes that possible in an efficient and impactful way.”
RealResponse simplifies the data collection process by allowing fans and supporters to complete a brief survey on their mobile devices via a QR code shared at the sports event. San Diego Athletics administrators can then analyze survey data, track trends over time, and implement strategic improvements to enhance the fan experience.
The technology was recently rolled out for men’s and women’s basketball and will soon be implemented for spring sports.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with the Torero community and the athletics department to quickly gather insights through accessible, user-friendly methods,” says RealResponse Founder and CEO David Chadwick. “Combining the efforts of the in-venue athletics personnel with our technology can be a game-changer in delivering an outstanding sports event experience.”
